First day in Angers.

Today was my first official day in Angers, and I have to say that it was quite enjoyable mostly. First I went to the meeting they had for all of the CIDEF students and immediately after that we took the placement tests for classes. We find out tomorrow what levels we placed in. I hope I placed high enough to get all of my classes. The test was a little hard, but I think I got through it. I met some people in  CIDEF who were from  the University of Notre Dame, and other people from other schools. Yay for meeting people!! ^_^

So then after the test and lunch, we were with a monitor to go around Angers. It was AWESOME. I am definitely going to see more of the city because it is so different than what I'm used to. I see people walking around everywhere and on bicycles too. If I were still in Fayetteville, I would see a lot of this. There are hardly and places to walk except for downtown. I will be posting pictures soon of what I saw.I love the look of the buildings and the sidewalks. I'm sooooo gonna explore more!! Actually one of the girls I met (can't remember her name right now, but I'm sure I'll see her again) were sitting in front of the campus, watching cars go by and talking about how cool it was to just sit and watch everything.

Sooooo, I hope I have some more new experiences later on down the road and I'll be posting some extra blogs with pictures I took and about my arrival in France, my host mother and cool things like that.

~Mia ^_^
